Singer-Songwriter Kimberly Cofer Releases Debut Americana Country Album on November 1st
Rising singer-songwriter Kimberly Cofer is set to make a powerful entrance onto the Americana and country music scene with the release of her debut album, arriving November 1st on all major streaming platforms.
Titled Cottonwood, the album is a heartfelt collection of original songs that blend Americana storytelling with the soul of classic country and the grit of Southern roots music. Cofer's voice - warm, lonest, and rich with emotion - carries lyrics that explore themes of love, loss, resilience, and the quiet strength found in nature.
"This album is a reflection of the places I've been, the people I've loved, and the truths I've had to sing my way through," says Cofer. "It's not just music, it's a map of who I am, what I’ve experienced, and how I’ve found peace."
Cottonwood features 9 tracks, all penned or co-written by Cofer, and produced in collaboration with Idyllwild-based producer Kenneth James Gibson. Standout tracks include the poignant "Some Summers," the foot-stomping anthem "Western Ditty," and the hauntingly beautiful "Ghost Trail." Cofer's songwriting draws comparisons to artists like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Patsy Cline, with a sound that honors the Americana tradition while carving her own unique path forward.
The release will be celebrated with a special album launch show at the Red Barn in Palm Desert on November 1st at 4PM, featuring live performances and a full band set.
With Cottonwood, Kimberly Cofer cements her place as a compelling new voice in Americana and country music — one that's deeply rooted, refreshingly real, and undeniably moving.
Cottonwood will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and all digital music platforms on November 1, 2025
